Tips for Thailand
Last summer, I was fortunate enough to have spent 4 weeks travelling around Thailand. Here's a few of my favourite spots... 1. Vikasa Yoga Resort, Koh Samui
Quite possibly the most tranquil place I have ever visited. The offer a range of yoga retreats, classes and teacher training - against this amazing back drop. The smoothies are pretty epics too!
2. Wat Phra Si Sanphet, Ayutthaya
These incredible ruins, of what was once a temple have so many amazing stories to tell behind each corner. Also, hire a bike here!
Located adjacent to the Grand Palace, the Temple of the Reclining Buddha really is a must see. I couldn't even comprehend how large this but at 46m long and 15m high - it's bloody massive!
4. Mae Wang Elephant Camp, close to Chiang Mai
Feed, wash and ride these beautiful elephants - they're treated very well, so don't worry about supporting a bad operation. There are also professional photographers to capture the special moments!
This resort, I don't even know where to start. Amazing facilities, private beach, set away from the craziness from the cities - but there are shuttles you can take!
6. Koh Nang Yuan, take boat from Koh Tao
You cannot travel to Thailand and not going and witness the view from this view point. Take a short boat trip from Koh Tao, it's inexpensive - however do not forget some money to pay for entry for the island and don't take any glass bottles!
