Review: LUSH Dark Angels
I lost my Lush virginity.
I grew up in an Estee Lauder, Clinique, Neal's Yard Remedies kinda house; so I'd never really given Lush much thought. But, I actually had time to just walk around the Westfield last week and just browse.
Of the two, I cannot stop ranting and raving about Dark Angels.
When I got back to London, my skin was not in it's best state. With the stress of University over here, lack of sun and injury ; let's just say - I've looked much better.
But, I used the sample for around 4 days (yes, theres enough in a sample for 4 days!) to test on my skin, before making the commitment.
Within 2 days: break outs were minimised, oil production reduced rapidly and scarring faded. I honestly couldn't believe it, as I do not believe in miracle products; but seriously - this stuff is good.
The pot of 100g cost around £7. However, you only use a tinnnny bit with a drop of water, to make a paste. It has a gritty, mask like texture - but the Charcoal and Black Sugar combination isn't too abrasive on the skin. Simply apply a thin layer to the skin, using circle motions to penetrate.
I like to apply the paste and leave on my face while I shower, being the last area to rinse (it can get messy!). Follow with a good cleanser & toner and moisturise.
If you have any other Lush Cosmetic products you'd recommend, please let me know! You know I'm an absolute product junkie!
